New video – ‘Not Perfect’ performed at HOME, the opening of PIAF 2016!
Earlier this month Tim performed at HOME, the opening of the Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF).
HOME showcased a stellar line-up of Western Australian artists performing at a huge outdoor theatre spectacular in Langley Park. More details here or on the PIAF website.
Here’s the footage of his evocative performance of Not Perfect with the West Australian Youth Orchestra, in an amazing setting:
Reminded me of The Comedy Prom in London, which I absolutely loved – including all of Tim’s songs and especially ‘Not Perfect’.

I have loved Tim since the first time I heard him. Loved the documentary about him. Such a nice guy. Such a beautiful song. Love everything he does☺
A perfectly fitting performance in a perfectly fitting setting. Thanks Tim from the East Coast. You and Perth did yourselves proud.
I love this song! It’s one of my favorites. I have been hoping for an updated version. The body has matured, as has the brilliant, and so freaking talented, composer/performer. I am never disappointed by this risk-taking, genre spanning, genius. Here’s to continued success in ‘bringing it on’. (glasses, filled with wine, raised in toast) Many thanks!!
Thank you Tim! Perfect song, perfect evening. Thank you for coming home for us!
Beautiful
Love this song. Have followed it since his ‘body’ was 31 & 6 months old. Probably one the deepest songs written
