The first time I saw Tim was in a DVD recording of Jesus Christ Superstar (I am a huge fan of Musicals), and I found that he was amazing. I saw Upright on TV, and this is a real piece of work. I admire the beauty of your songs, and your sense of humor. I am French an I teach English to high school students that don’t care so much for the poetry of Leonard Cohen or Paul Simon. You are a master singer songwriter, kind regards from France

Tim – Discovered Upright by accident through Amazon on US television. Loved Season One and was so happy when I found Season 2. Just completed S2 and broke down (in a happy way) during the final scene and your performance of Aeroplane. The series, the song…simply brilliant. Matilda is getting great exposure in the US, I hope many more Americans are able to discover all that you have to offer. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world!

Having enjoyed Upright 1 the 2nd was just as good, you are so brilliant Tim.
I sit here alone day in day out unable to walk trying to keep myself busy as much as I am able, listen to music, mostly Leonard Cohen, and every now and then watch TV.
When you sang the Aeroplane song at the end of the episode I cried so much and fell in love with your words.
I have just lost my beautiful youngest Son and then 3 months later my adored Husband and your song hit my heart strings so strongly.

Tim, Tim, Tim….your dialogue in the season 2 finale is heart wrenching. Your reference to jigsaw puzzles and missing pieces reflect my life. I have written songs that reference them and how it’s the missing pieces that are the tapestry that holds things together. The missing pieces do indeed make up the best parts. What can I say? Your dialogue in the last episode of Season 2 where you refer to missing jigsaw pieces says it all for me. I have written songs about jigsaws with missing pieces and you summed it up perfectly. It’s the missing pieces that make things right. Love this song – kudos to you and your heart.
