Two more shows in Southern California!

Next month Tim will be heading to two more cities in Southern California to inspire, amaze and awe their residents with the perfect combination of lyrical trickery, sexy dance moves, skin-tight jeans, wonderfully coiffed hair and magical piano skills!

If you’re in the area, you’ll be able to catch Tim in Santa Barbara, at the Lobero Theater, on the 11th April 2012 and in San Diego, at the Balboa Theater, on the 12th April 2012.

Tickets for these evenings of hi-jinx and stupid songs go on sale on 9th March at 10am, however, there are presales happening for both shows – the San Diego one has already started and the Santa Barbra one is from tomorrow at 10am! The password you’ll need in both cases is SAXOPHONE. You can grab your Santa Barbara tickets from the venue’s website and you can buy your San Diego tickets from Ticketmaster.

Tim’s gonna play in paradise… The Eden Sessions!

Tim will be headlining a delightful one-off day of humour at the home of the famous Eden Project Biomes, near St Austell, Cornwall, on Saturday 23rd June 2012. He’ll be joined, for his comedy Eden Session, by his band, the heavenly Pete Clements and Brad Webb. More of the acts will be announced soon.

Tickets cost £35 plus booking fee and for your booking pleasure an exclusive, limited pre-sale has just opened! Simply click here to book. The site will open at 10am and the ticket entitles the bearer for the whole day of the gig and the day after. The acts usually start from midday with headliners on around 8.30pm-9pm.

The rest go on general sale at 6pm on Tuesday 13th March. To book these contact:
The Eden Box Office on 01726 811972 or visit www.edensessions.com.

The Eden Project is a charity running inspirational social and environmental programmes as well as putting on wonderful arts and music events. To find out more and for how to get there visit www.edenproject.com.

So… head to the beautiful gardens of Eden for some musical and comedic environmentalism, rationalism and Tim(ism).
Apple anyone?

UPDATE (21st May 2012): Craig Campbell, the acclaimed Canadian stand-up comedian, who now lives in Devon, England, with his dog Ludo, will be doing a thirty minute warm-up for Tim. At the moment it is not known if Ludo will be joining him…

Rock-ness at RockNess by Loch Ness!

Tim will be appearing as a special guest at RockNess on Sunday 10th June 2012.

The RockNess festival is held 8th – 10th June, at Clune Farm, Aldourie, near Inverness, right on the shore of the beautiful Loch Ness.

Day tickets are already on sale (with no booking fee until 9am on the 9th March) and can be obtained here along with the full line up across all three days and further details.

Tim will be performing solo but will bring his rockness, satiricalness, lyricalness, awesomeness, gingerness, and sheer glamourousness and attempt to out frickin’ ‘ness’ everyone including that monster for which, as yet, there is no reliable empirical evidence. If only I could remember its name…

Let’s Judge Let’s Dance for Sport Relief!

Who can forget Tim’s ironic iconic dance moves over the past few years? From the sultry wiggle in If I Didn’t Have You and the highly polished routine in Bears Don’t Dig on Dancing to the high kicks in If You Really Loved Me and the French waltz in Cheese, Tim is an expert when it comes to comedy choreography!

Given these credentials, who else, is better qualified to judge this Saturday’s Let’s Dance for Sport Relief?

Yes, that’s right. On 3rd March, 7pm on BBC One, Tim will be sitting alongside fellow comics Ed Byrne and Katy Brand to appraise the contestants’ interpretations of classic dance routines as they vie for a spot in the series’ final.

Tomorrow’s contestants will be Scott Mills, Olly Murs, Omid Djalili, Tyger Drew Honey, Kirsten O’Brien and Arabella Weir and there’ll be musical performances from Chris Isaak and Tinchy Stryder & Pixie Lott.

Maybe he’ll end up teaching them a step or two – you’ll have to tune in to find out!

Did you know that you share 96.4% of your DNA with orangutans? You can proudly show off this fact, by purchasing one of the t-shirts, as modelled by the lovely Tim on the right, from the Sumatran Orangutan Society’s online shop.

In addition to this, the Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) are also holding some Jungle VIP auctions where you can win various items from celebrities, and one of these items is the shirt that Tim wore during his ‘Ready For This?’ tour! You can start bidding tonight from 8pm at the SOS’s eBay page.

Proceeds from the auctions and t-shirt sales will go to the SOS so that they can continue their work in helping protect the critically endangered Sumatran orangutans and the apes’ environment.

More information about the work they do, and about the other Jungle VIP auctions, can be found on the SOS’s Jungle VIP website.

Largoing back to LA!

Tim’s extending his stay in LA to play an intimate show at Largo at the Coronet on the 9th April 2012!

Tickets are available exclusively online at Largo’s website here.

April Foolishness in LA!

Tim is joining Eddie Izzard, Larry King, Jim Jefferies and many more at KROQ’s annual Kevin & Bean’s April Foolishness show on Saturday April 7th 2012 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.
