A trip to the Great Lakes – dates added in Detroit, Madison and Milwaukee!
They say bad things come in threes, and here to disprove this nonsense, is Tim, with a third US gig announcement this month for another three American tour dates confirmed for this Autumn!
- St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, will play host to our fine, fuzzy-haired fool on the 30th September 2011.
- Barrymore Theatre in Madison, will see our prodigal piano player on the 1st October 2011.
- Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee, will present our bright, bare-footed buffoon on the 2nd October 2011.
Tickets for all shows go on general sale on Friday at 10am. You can grab Detroit tickets from Livenation, Madison tickets from the Barrymore Theatre box office and Milwaukee tickets from the Pabst Theatre box office. There are presales available for all three shows from tomorrow at 10am, and we’ll be updating this post with the details before it starts.
And, in case you missed them earlier, there are also US dates confirmed for New York, Mesa, Dallas and Boulder. More details for each of these can be found on the gigs page.
UPDATE: Presale details are as follows. The password is ‘electric’ for Detroit and Milwaukee, with a special link here for Milwaukee tickets. Madison tickets are available now, from the updated link above.
Atlanta, Georgia wouldn’t mind a show!! Tim, you are awesome!!
Thank you so much for adding these dates!
Just bought tickets for Pabst theater and could not be more excited!
Keep being awesome Tim.
Just watched the Proms- absolutely amazing!!!
My 15 year old son watched the Proms- how good is that.
Thanks for a fantastic concert
Amazing!!
Tim, a friend who saw you in Chicago said her venue was very much like St. Andrews Hall in Detroit and though GA/standing, you specified rows of seating be put out. Will that be done here as well? Can’t wait for the show- thanks for coming to MI!
Tim, Aussie in Michigan. Love your stuff. Wife does too. English is her 2nd language so she consumes any of your stuff with subtitles. I just broke my F5 key to get early tickets to Detroit when presale opened – hoping for close seats (seeing lips move is almost like subtitles)… turns out it’s general admission! Ack. We look forward nonetheless.
Just scored Front Row for The Pabst!! Thanks!! Can’t wait to see you!!
I was notified by the Pabst that presale is “ELECTRIC”.
Don’t know if case matters, but if you can’t get in lower case, try upper.
We would love to see you in Indianapolis!
Tim…. I’ll be seeing you back to back in Madison and Milwaukee! Welcome. Drop on by my place for a beer, bratwurst and a little Midwestern hospitality.
Your people want you in Madison! I bought four tickets for my son (a ginger) and his rommate (a ginger) and their dates. Hope they’re gingers, too!
We’d love for you to come back to the St. Louis area as well :-)
Please come back to Toronto soon – loved the show in June!
SO HAPPY!!! Yay!! Thank you for coming to Detroit!
Is it 18 or older?…I have been a fan forever and this will be my one chance to see him live…I’m 17 and i really really wanna see him. Please inform me…i have my money for tickets…. : )

Just discovered Tim a few months ago and am in love. So completly thrilled there’s a show in Detroit. I’ll be there!!! Thank you!
Don’t forget to add that Indianapolis show, my friend!
Kansas City! Yes, please!! ♥
HELLS TO THE YES. Madison wants Minchin BAD!
Come down to Kansas City and I’ll bake you a pie.
Okay! Wonderful!!!! Now just come down for one night in INDY, please! We would not only love to have you perform here, but we NEED YOU IN INDY!!! Much love!!! PS: lots of CFI members and Freethinkers would come.
Oh sob. I’m running a race on the second or I’d totally be driving to Madison from St. Paul. I’m half tempted to do it anyway and just red eye the drive home and race tired as hell.
The midwest loves you, Tim. Keep visiting us. Looking forward to your next chicago date.
