It’s not easy being on The Green Room
American folk! We bring you the good news that Tim will be returning to your TV screens tomorrow night!
On Showtime, at 11pm ET/PT, your favourite Australian dork, Tim, will be appearing alongside Eddie Izzard, Jimmy Carr, Judah Friedlander, Chris Hardwick on The Green Room with Paul Provenza.
For those unfamiliar with the show, it’s basically a load of comedians in a roundtable setting, speaking off-the-cuff and uncensored in front of a studio audience with no rules, no agenda, no censors. Given some of the taboo subject Tim sings about, this sounds to me, like a show you don’t want to be missing out on!
Brain Cum! Oh Mr Minchin, i have the flu right now and your expedites on the piano very nearly killed me
Will this ever be on YouTube? I’d really like to watch it!!!
This was a great show! I had only heard of you via Amanda Palmer, it was a lovely surprise to turn it on and there you were with Eddie Izzard! The discussion of comedy and politics and ideals was extremely interesting, I only wish the show was longer so the guests could go more in depth. I look forward to learning more about you, you intrigue me
Tim, congratulations for being named one of Variety’s ’10 comics to watch’ in 2011. This Canadian has been a fan for quite a while–a great choice was made (your songs and voice are amazing). Please spend more time in Canada in the future (if your Australian fans will ‘let you go’…).
lucky amarica !!<3
Fun show, although I think the show could greatly benefit from being at least an hour long. It’s hit or miss whether or not they have enough time to finish once things start getting good.
I did rather enjoy the sincere look of surprise and concern on Jimmy’s face when Tim put his hand on his leg to ask him a question.
Ditto to Suzanne! Being poor is bogus but comedy helps the nonsense especially when it’s the timchin! (I am totally copywriting that word, you saw it here first).
Tim and Eddie? With Jimmy thrown in, I think I’ve found heaven…and have to watch it later. Sorry heaven, you’re not worth a Showtime subscription…unless it becomes a regular thing.
Wow show time? I don’t think I can give those Comcast bastards any more money. Sorry Tim. Love u but not that much. Willies seeing u. Saving up for next live show.
WOW!! I can remember Chris Hardwick (@nerdist) posting a pic of them together and freaking out about him hanging with Tim and Eddie! I’m definitely setting the DVR!!!
Just added showtime through Comcast for a song and immediately, despite continued power outages on the east coast of US. This has made my day! My excitement is a little over the top but Mr. Minchin has that effect on me.
Please please please, go to the Showtime website (www.sho.com) go to the GREEN ROOM section and post a comment on their message boards. The more positive feedback they get on the show, the more likely the will be to make sure it’s made MORE available…AND more likely to get more episodes. Thanks, all!
I just heard about this show on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. Not on TV in Australia, but hopefully it will be available… somewhere…
You’re not a dork, you dag.
This would have made my day if I had Showtime. Might have to add it before tomorrow….
Two of my favourite comedians together… I think I just peed some more.
Oh please let this be on You Tube soon, oh how i would love to be in the audience.
Any chance of seeing this in the UK on Sky. Would just love to see this.
I love Tim and Eddie Izzard! Two of my favorite comedians! I definitely can’t miss this! :)
