Tim’s on The Culture Show tomorrow night!
Tim will be on The Culture Show tomorrow, 27th June, 2012, on BBC2 at 10pm.
Miranda Sawyer chatted to Tim, initially in a VW Camper, (yes really) on the way to the Eden Project on Saturday and then backstage while he put his make-up on ready to wow the Eden Session crowds, divinely in a deluge.
They talked about Matilda the Musical, playing Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and his role of “coked-up rockstar” Atticus Fetch in the sixth season of Californication – but we’ll have to see what survived the edit! Hopefully they’ll be showing the first movement of ‘Confessions’ and a clip from Matilda the Musical too.
There are four chances to catch the programme, across the diferent regions and even in HD if you really want to see Tim’s touseled locks, pixie highly pixelated features and those piercing baby blues über clearly. Details here.
You also have the option to iPlayer it. It will be available shortly after it airs.
UPDATED to add the direct iPlayer link. Tim’s bit starts at 15:10.

why o why?????
Thanks, Tim, for the show. Some acts would’ve “called off” due to such weather in an outdoor setting, but you didn’t – and the crowd loved you for it! C*******m – who knew?! Best wishes in all your current and future projects. :)
Had such a good time seeing Tim at the Eden project. Yes the weather was rubbish, but he was totally worth it :)
Looking forward to watching it- Eden gig was fab. Even the weather had comedy timing of it’s own!
That should be fun to watch (and record!) I love seeing Tim’s interviews. Thanks Tim, for working so hard to do an excellent performance for us at Eden despite torrential rain! Love and best wishes to you, Sarah, Violet and Casper. :-) xx
Marvellous! I was at Eden when this was recorded – ‘deluge’ doesn’t even come close to describing how wet it was. The camaradery in the audience was lovely, and it ended up being an awesome show! And we witnessed a rare occurrence of Tim wearing wellies…for a little while anyway ;-)
Will b watching and recording this then! Love tim minchin after my sister in law had him on at her house
