Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour is heading around the UK again!
The second Jesus Christ Superstar UK Arena Tour kicked off last night in Glasgow! Tim’s reprising his award-winning performance as Judas Iscariot, for one last tour, while Melanie C and Ben Forster will also be returning in their roles as Mary Magdalene and Jesus. Chris Moyles is back to play King Herod and Alexander Hanson takes on the role of Pontius Pilate again.
The spectacular show will now go on to visit: Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, London and Liverpool.
If you want to take your final chance to see Tim brooding, rocking and [spoiler alert] dying in dreadlocks and tatts in the Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour then you can see the full list of tour dates and ticket availability at www.jesuschristsuperstar.com.
I have hope, that one day.. i’ll see this same musical with Tim in Poland. :)
What an amazing performance by Tim Minchin in his role as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar!! Powerful voice, note perfect and sung with passion. Didn’t know Tim had such talent. Fantastic show, saw it tonight 13th October 2013 at the O2. Could watch it again and again! Can’t wait to put my DVD on.
Watched Mel C, Ben and Tim at Nottingham on Thursday – the show just blew you away it was fantastic – as were all the cast. I could see this again and again.
Totally shocked after watching JC in Nottingham. I’ve always liked Tim Minchin but nothing could have prepared me for his role in this. His voice totally blew me out of the water! Truly incredible.
Saw it in Nottingham last night! Absolutely amazing! Especially the performances from Tim, Ben and mel c!
Oh, and have a wonderful Birthday from one creative Libra to another, I shall toast you on the 12th with a large glass of wine! (that would be my big day)
So sad I wont be able to see Tim in his live performance, I will however be getting the DVD, I’ve seen clips on youtube of the performance and it brought goose bumps and tears. Of other live performances I’ve seen of other actors that have moved me, Tim is the first to make me deeply emotional, I thank you Mr.Minchin for sharing your gift and talents with us. Hope to be seeing/hearing more in the future, you have a fan base in the US that appreciate your honesty and understanding in this (my) country of blinded idol worshipers, your openness on the matter as an outspoken makes it easier for those of us who often feel cornered and forced to believe and accept a life belief we dont agree with, so sorry I’m straying (just wait till my book is finished, haha) in any case, I really just wanted to say thank you.
Fantastic show in Newcastle tonight!!!!!!!
Saw it on Friday and IT WAS AMAZING! I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner! Already bought the DVD and hope to see it again, Tim Minchin is the best Judas ever! (this was decided after watching countless youtube videos)

Purchased my first Tim Minchin DVD, Royal Albert Hall, after watching it on American cable TV. Finally, somebody who is not afraid to speak their true feelings about religion! Watching and listening to Mr. Minchin gave me the courage to “come out of the confessional” and admit that I am really an evolutionist and no longer have to pretend to others that beating people over the head with a bible, koran (lower case intentional) is a godly thing to do! THANK YOU, TIM MINCHIN! Since I am not able to see Jesus Christ Superstar live, I will purchase it to enjoy at home. Tim – keep on buggering us in America!
Please come to the States!!!
