Absolutely brilliant! Loved it to the core.
Tim – You continue to astound me…. What a stunning performance by everyone. I have a tingly feeling in my heart. I donated. I just wish there was some way I could watch the full video over and over…….. and over again.
Beautifully performed. How blessed to have such an amazing talent. I pray a cure will come, soon!
Your music is the only thing getting me through a teaching prac in an insanely religious school. Thank you for keeping me sane.
Please can you make this available as a charity single! It’s beautiful and I can’t get it out of my head.
Devastatingly beautiful and powerful way to explain such as horrible group of diseases.
May they find a cure soon.
Beautiful…. this horrible disease steals so many lives it needs a cure.
Horrid disease…a bucket load of research will hopefully throw light on it. A cure can’t come quickly enough.
Good on you Tim!
A friend of mine died from Motor Neurone Disease some years ago now.
So wonderful to see you helping to raise awareness and I hope lots of people keep on donating.
Hello. I’ve had 34 surgeries due to an auto accident in 1983. My spine has osteo perosis. My last surgery, April 15, 2015, left me bed ridden. 2 gays ago, I had my 4th eschemic stroke. My mind started to shut down, I went numb, and I tried to hit my lifeline button.I was too weak and it was buried under my nightgown. All I had time to think was, “Goodbye world, Good bye friends.” I was unconscious for 5 hours.I was confused and so tired. I know my end is coming. I can feel it. Hopefully not before December 11, my birthday and the 15, your concert in LA. It will probably be my last outing. I empathize with those who are losing motor control. I am one of them. I am waiting on a power wheelchair but, may need a hoist. I know what it is like to lose your dignity and self respect. I have no family-they left me long ago.I don’t pity myself. It is what it is. I’ll be glad when it’s over. Thanks, Tim for doing Something as opposed to other Stars who do very little or, nothing.Hope to see you on the 15 of Dec. You make me Laugh….
Wow… Breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you, Tim.
Tim.
Perfection as usual.
What a beautiful and powerful message. In honour of Sandra, may there come a day where no-one has to lose a friend or family member to this disease.
Bravo to all. So inspiring and cleverly done.
this, this here is exceptional, beautiful, haunting, amazing, and a great unique way to raise wareness and well needed funds. one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite comedin/singer and rock god Tim Minchin and the Beautifull sydey symphony orchestra.everyone please watch and donate, 5.00 is less than that bottle of wine which you can forgoe for once, because you know, the quicker they get money the more research happens and the quicker their is a breakthrough, think of it as an investment in your or your childrens potential future health. #CouldBeYou #PutYourelInTheirShoes. much love
Lovely. But looks like the donations site is folding under the pressure, so I hope people come back later when there is less of a crush. Also wondered whether it might be possible to donate to MND UK to give them gift aid instead of MND Australia…
So inspiring and moving and deep thinking. You are a good man, Tim, to promote MND in your own special way. You will really help by raising money to eventually find a cure for this disease. We are all reminded each day how short and special each day of our lives are.
Such a gifted man – so generous!!!
deeply touching…. donate!
Fantastic video.. love the way sections go out of tunes…great way to bring attention to this illness… inspiring for the rest of us.
Such an awesome talent.
That was unexpected.
Brilliant.
Bravo.
So powerful and effective. Reminds us all to keep some perspective and enjoy what we have now. x
