A true original. Thank you for sharing your genius with the world; you’ve made a lifelong fan out of this American lady
My Aunty in the UK went to get her grandson a copy of ‘You so F*****g Rock’ she couldn’t bring herself to say the word to ask for it so she phoned her daughter and got her to say it over the phone!!!
My daughter turned me on to you and said, “Don’t you think grandma would have liked him?” The answer was, “Yes, she would have loved him!” My mom was a professional piano player and her favorite stuff to play was silly, old songs from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, but especially parodies. I grew up listening to her play crazy, little, unknown tunes, then sharing with my friends. I have so missed her and can’t begin to thank you enough for working hard to become famous so you could share this great musical niche.
I’m an agnostic in southern Oregon, USA…Maybe , I’m the only one. Today, I listened to White wine in the sun. It was the first time since I played it to the most wonderful Mum a man could ask for. She left this earth, last January. No, I don’t know where she went. But she sure did love that song. I played it for her last Christmas, when she was so ill. I just want to tell you thank you, for putting a smile and a tear to both of our faces.
I bought a park, this summer. No, its a first for me. I bought it, because Mum would have wanted me to. Mum used to swim there, with all us kids, in the best swimming hole in Oregon. . I’m naming it Merete’s Cove after my Mum.Its one of the worlds most beautiful places. I’m trying to build a beautiful bandstand there. Mum loved music. I welcome you to sing there someday. I know its a little crazy. But including you, there would be at least two Atheists near the stage. Three including my sweet daughter, Brook, who also loves your music. Maybe I dream too big……. Either way, My family will be listening to white wine in the sun, this Christmas, and thinking of Mum.
Hi Tim – My wife and I saw you in Thousand Oaks on Saturday and said “hello” afterwards. We’re the couple from Phoenix who mentioned to you that I played piano and sang at her over the Internet and in return she married me. Pretty good trade, honestly. We made it back safely, by the way. Anyway I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you for such a fantastic show, and your transformative influence on my life. I’m very very very happy to be able to say that I shook your hand, and I’m very very very sad that I declined to be in the picture that you took with my wife. Come back soon!

Hey Tim&Co.
I first saw u(tim) @ moorabbin town hall in 05 and was soooooo fu***ng impressed-u r a genius. My sister thinks ur weird and even though i sort of agree, i still think u r awsome-kEEP IT UP.
Hey hey tim, the donut shop that I work at (Puffin Fresh Whitfords City, Perth) just started distributing Canvas Bags. Well not canvas as such, but those big reusable hard plasticy ones. I’m not too sure what they’re actually made of, but I’m very glad, because I was previously getting told off by my boss for not offering customers plastic bags to put their multiple donuts in. ‘It can’t be that hard to just *carry* them, guys, Do it for the environment.’ But apparently there’s no room for environmental friendliness in the world of donut retail.
Well g2g, I’m off to work :D
was the photographer at your radio recording at the drill hall london on the 2 nov which was great fun…loved the song about pigs very funny, hope to catch a show at the duchess got some great shots for the bbc too!!!!
To Blake:
I really meant that i dont think
We get circumsised
You get circumsised
Why not get circumsised togethor would sound as good as.
We dont eat pigs etc.
Maybe i was wrong…
Your music has been with me through some tough times in America. I am a Black woman. I don’t have much hope for changing my stars. But hearing your excellent voice rock n rolling my troubles away… at least for a day… keeps me sane. I know you do the same for millions around the world. It was my birthday a few days ago. I turned 46. I hope to see you live again before I reach 50. I promised my niece (she’s always challenging me) that I would chase one dream this year. I hope I don’t sound too weird when I say, I want to sit in that future audience of Minchin fans and scream my head off for you again. My humble dream. Much love from Portland, Oregon USA.
Thanks for the positive in this sea of controversy. I liked your message so much I bought the book!
Hi Tim. Mike from Tampa here. Once you hit 70, you start thinking of things you’d like to do while you still can. My daughter and I saw your NYC TM & his Piano and London Songs the World Will Never Hear shows. Hard to to top that. Then it hit me. Dream big! Would you consider bringing back your Royal Albert Hall Orchestra show? I’m a tennis player. Your NYC and London shows coincided with the US Open and Wimbledon. It was much easier selling going across the pond to my velp, if I also got to attend one of the majors. Thanks. Mike
I’m thankful you came to Toowoomba. Watching real people with really amazing talent was a blast of fresh air, blowing away the junk that builds up from scrolling. Phew, you came in time. Thanks again xxxx
Dearest Tim, I just wanted to post a thank you / congratulations, to you and your team on the end of your tour; the gig in Toowoomba was the perfect finale! Thank you for sharing your new work with us tonight, we could all see what it meant to you, although I did have a pretty good view of your celebratory Hi-5 during the next number. I am just hoping that tonight you felt the love of an entire generation of students, from one of those special tax exempt organisations, here in Toowoomba. Starting them with ‘Storm’ in the middle years Philosophy elective, and always ending with your UWA speech for the Yr 12’s…I’m not saying that you are a ‘tool’, but you know what? You were a great tool! Someone, whose intelligence and wit opened the eyes of a generation, and more importantly, gave hope to those who thought, or were at a minimum, interested in thinking… Love your work – its importance simply can’t be measured!
Hi Tim, I was listening to White Wine in the Sun again today. It pops up in my social media memories all the time because I’ve shared it so much over the years. My Dad really loved Christmas — he loved having everyone around him. He passed away in 2019, on the 17th of December, at 80 years of age. He just wanted to make it to one more Christmas. Upright came out that same month. The song Carry You, and the series itself, absolutely broke me… but somehow carried me through as well. I don’t think I really grieved in the way I expected to until this year. Suddenly, it’s hitting me like a train.I really miss him. This Christmas it will be just my Mum and me. I’m towing my little 1986 Viscount caravan up to the lake at Wooroonook, Victoria, to try to make something meaningful of the day for her. She’s 81 now and struggling to get around. My brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and even my sons won’t be there. It’s going to be a hard one. Christmas just doesn’t bring me joy anymore. But still, I’ll sip white wine in the sun, think of my Dad, and try to make a happy memory with Mum — because I know her time is drawing close too. I just wanted to say thank you. Your music has a way of touching people at their deepest places, and these songs have been a part of my healing more than you could know. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and I hope you keep writing the kind of music that reaches people when they need it most. Thank you ~ Megan xo
Dear Tim. We went to your concert in Canberra tonight. We have to drive 2 +1/2 hours and stay overnight. It was very well worth that effort. There were many moments that made us laugh and cry and think deeply about my life and where to from here. We are in our senior years and enjoyed it all immensely. We have followed your career from the beginning and as rusted on nerds will continue to do so. I saw Matilda the musical live in Sydney and enjoyed that very much. Would love to see Groundhog if it comes our way. Thanks again for all the music and the chat. Loved it all. Love to you and your family. Coral
I saw your show in Brisbane on Friday with my partner. I have never seen a crowd so obedient to putting their phones down. We all desperately wanted to photograph the real life Tim Minchin for ourselves. Many took the sneaky blurry shots that will forever be the bragging point over Christmas dinner. The recovery from accidentally entertaining the comedian in the crowd, to the perfectly balanced sound was amazing. Thank you for giving us almost an hour of extra entertainment. Absolutely worth it. I’m so glad I saw this before seeing Metallica tickets. It would have been a hard choice. Probably would have still chosen you. This is a big tick on my life bucket list.
Hi Tim. Mike from Tampa here. My daughter and I loved yer show at the Apollo. Matilda at Cambridge there’s… no words. The London sites and a day at Wimbledon after 7 hours on the que. Could’ve been perfect, butt…You didn’t do Airport Piano, so this is all your fault. I had to do it. I’m a 70, mediocre singer, though energetic and enthusiastic. I sang Airport Piano at Karaoke last night. Sounds ok but… I live in a nudist resort. My 70 y/o 140lb nekid scrawny bod singing my favorite song. I’d include a vid, except cameras are not allowed…
Hi. I just wanted to say. I’m finally listening to “Time Machine” (I was going to do it sooner, but it felt so weird to do so right after Tom died. I felt like I had to listen to him for awhile first). And I got to The Song of The Masochocist… and broke down crying. When “Apart Together” came out it was not a good time. For anyone really. I’m in the US and it was just. SO BAD. And then that album came out and I listened on repeat. And it made things better. I would just lay in bed as it felt like we were in the 10th, 11th, 12th month of the apocalypse and would cry as songs like “The Absence of You” comforted me against the absence of the WORLD. Because that was it, the whole WORLD was a hole and it was missing and everything was horrible. And “Apart Together” was what kept ME together. And listening to “Time Machine”, 4 tracks in, and I broke down sobbing because I had somehow forgotten just how much hearing your music when I’m in a dark place, like I am again, can just mend me and make it ok. Even for a little bit. And I had always hoped someday I could tell you that in person but, I’m an American, nope, so here I am. Anyway, thanks. For putting this box here and for making all the music you do. I’ve been listening for a long time, and you’ve gotten me through so much. Thank you for everything.
This is silly because I don’t really think you will read it in person but I still want to say Thank you for saving my marriage! We’ve been through a lot and there are so many times I’ve just wanted to walk away from everything. It took me a long time to discover you (since I live in Sweden where “everyone” says “Heh, Tim who?”) but the two first songs I heard were White wine in the sun (which reminded me of the importance of family) and Not perfect (which reminded me that I am pretty nice and can stand myself). Your rock ‘n’ roll nerding makes me happy and your love songs make me sad and happy at the same time and I confess the huuuuge confirmation biases ? My 50th birthday was coming up and I felt trapped, old and unloved. I thought about spending it in Paris all by myself. Then you unveiled your UK tour! Bam! I bought tickets to Edinburgh and told my husband that he could come with me if he promised to try to understand WHY I really had to go and he was not allowed ruin it! He prepared by listening to the songs and our kids gave him “clues and keys to mummy” and he nailed them all. I haven’t felt so loved in years! And to be there seeing and hearing you live, sharing tears of laughter and touched hearts, feeling his eyes on me when I was ALIVE for the first time in years and holding his hand to all the lovesongs (including the boobs ?)… yes, you saved us. Thank you ??
…and here is the rest…

Absolutely amazing gig on Friday night at RAH. Loved every bit of it. The orchestration was lush and you were hilarious!!! Loved the new songs, you’re fab!!!!
I don’t have cookies to bring you.
Will a giraffe be okay?
Loved the gig on Thursday at Royal Albert Hall. A most excellent evening and some very awesome piano playing!! Having the orchestra there too was just fab! Looking forward to the summer!
Went to see you on Friday night at the RAH. I enjoyed every minute and the orchestra were absolutely amazing. The new songs are brilliant… who doesn’t love a 7 minute song about Cheese! Thank you for making my weekend extra special, who needs a royal wedding when you’ve got Tim Minchin!!! xx
I was at the RAH friday night. Amazing show, love the new material, although Prejudice will always be my favorite!. Orchestra were fantastic too.
It was me and my friend’s first time seeing you live at Bamboozle Sunday night, and you were amazing! <3 Next time you come around NJ/NY, I will absolutely be there! :)
Myself, my boyfriend and our good friends saw you at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday the 29th April. You were awesome and playing with the Orhcestra was inspired!!!
We think you’re really great!
Thanks for the funnies
My birthday is going to be capped by your concert tonight, making this ginger very happy. ;-)
I love Tim, he is a God. And should defiantly play in manchester. because he’s beautiful.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Gramercy. Perhaps there well be a new song related to recent events????
You’re my last hope of humanity… you make me a better person. I have no words that express my gratitude of your existence. The world wouldn’t be the same without you.
Hello Tim !
You’re my all-time favourite performer. You have it all: you’re incredibly funny, brilliant, good looking, you can touch people’s hearts and minds… I mean, you have it all!
But what makes me really sad, is that I’ll probably never be able to attend to one of your live shows… You see, I’m from Portugal… And really doubt that you’ll set foot in one portuguese stage (although, I would be thrilled if you’d do so!) for years to come.
Never the less, please don’t stop doing what you do! Even from a distance, I try to follow your amazing work and show it to as many people as I can !
Love,
J.
P.S.: I’m sorry if my english isn’t perfect !
Saw you on Thursday 28th at RAH and still laughing/singing/humming your stuff (I’m getting rather odd looks at work/in public) Fantastic show, had been looking forward to it for months, and you didn’t disappoint one bit… when is the next tour?!
I can bring you Gypsy Tart? Its a cake-kind-of-tart, not a lady tart called Gypsy. Not sure if you Australian folk have it…
soooo very excited we are coming to see you at liverpool, yipeee!!!
Thank you for coming back to the U.S. Excited to see (and hear) your show in NYC tomorrow! What kinds of cookies do you prefer? We’d be more than happy to bake (and bring)some!
Tim, we saw you at the RAH on Thursday 28th…You were FANTASTIC!! Been looking forward to it for the longest time. Now you deserve a little rest before YOUR NEXT TOUR!!
Purple Shoes!!
Amazing, amazing gig in NYC last night. I hope you come back often — I’ll be there every time. With friends. And cookies.
Tim, you were absolutely brilliant last night at Gramercy Theatre! Now I’m really sad that it’s over.. but hoping to see you again one day, and maybe in person too!
Just heard my 3.5, 5 and 6.5 yo singing ‘only a ninja can sneak up on another ninja’. Inappropriate music for little kiddies I hear you saying. Oh well. Can never start them too early.
Ironic, really, that Tim IS God.
Surprised the wife with tickets to the show last night.
Split my sides, cried and cried and almost fell off my chair!
What a show.
It’s fun being a Scot Ginger singing ‘Prejudice’ along with Tim.
Encore!
Would be awesome if you could come to Sweden and do a show or two here ^^
We saw you at RAH on Thursday 28th – 3 standing ovations! I’ve seen you 5 times and this was the best yet.
Phwoah, just queued on-line to book tickets for Comedy Prom no. 40 at the RAH in August. Took over an hour of not daring to leave the pootah in case I missed my place in the queue – had to eat fajitas and now have salsa drips over the keyboard!
Because you’re worth it…
Hey Tim,
I can’t wait to see you at RAH in Comedy Prom! – its going to be epic…. I will definitely have my Canvas Bag!!!
Peace <3
only three days tim! for once i am excited for the weekend to be over! god i love you man!
Mr Minchin, your show last night was incredible, thoroughly enjoyed it and the Heritage Orchestra was amazing! I hope its not too long till you come back to Glasgow!
p.s. I wish you had played Inflatable you, it would of sounded pretty great with the full band and strings
Absolutely loved the show last night – even though there was a bit of a wierdo sitting next to us who kept telling us what was coming next. Think he might be a stalker – beware! Seriously though, thank you so much for such a fantastic night out. Felt great to be a heathen in amongst heathens in the middle of Glasgow! x
Just wanted to say thankyou! As I happen to be a 29 and 1/2 yr old piano playing dedicated father of 2, your song “Rock N Roll Nerd” speaks to me on multiple levels. I have also grown fond of many of your tunes in the last few months. I am trying to spread the word about “White wine in the Sun” I think it is the most original and sincere Christmas song ever!
Wow…. just dropping a hello to say I was amazed by your gig tonight, the orchestra really adds a little marshmallow of je ne sais quois to your music… Cant wait for the new material to be on the dvd! :)
I have been lucky enough to see you twice, once at Nottingham Playhouse and then at the Trent FM arena, on both occassions your ego had just a nice fit! I admire your wit and intelligence and majestic piano playing along with your,
fearlesness of expressing thoughts and fears a lot of us deny ( it has taken me a while to get my head around your sentiments in Lullaby mind you!) BTW
Please write a song telling them there Tories how wrong they are in trying to dismantle the NHS x All them nurses David…. they will have their revenge!
Hi Tim, Thanks for a cleansing and captivating show. Thanks for working so hard. And as far as “It’s beyond a dream come true”, well, you totally deserve every ounce of respect, admiration and support for your phenomenal talent. Never stop! Phil and Kindall xx
I was at your show in Sheffield yesterday. It was truely epic, you were amazing. Context and the 7min cheese song really made me laugh. I didnt want you show to end. Can’t wait for you to do another tour. Love Sophie xx

Credit to the orchestra too! Wow.
Can’t wait for next tour! And DVD hopefully..? X
As a Sydney-sider I am so glad to hear your UK tour has gone so well. We saw your concert for the first time with the SSO and loved it – and are grateful you included some of your old songs, because they were totally new for us. But with all this touring, please don’t kill yourself from exhaustion. To be honest, I have been so worried about you – knowing how much you give of yourself at each performance. P-L-E-A-S-E have a good break and a rest now. You deserve it! We really hope the SSO concert is released on DVD – that would be magic. By the way, I have just found the “Lament of the Three-toed Sloth” on Youtube. I thought I would die laughing – brilliant! There must be the opportunity for a whole range of CD’s of your back catalogue of songs. Please don’t let them disappear into the ether. All the best from your friends “Down Under”.
Hey Tim. Was at the Echo Arena las night to watch the show. Poor little me was stuck behind some really tall people though! It was so amazing last night, Ive never laughed so much at a comedy show, I was splitting my sides! Really loved the ‘new’ song, hilarious! And the disco ball?? brilliant! some goon next to me put his sunglasses on during that bit…..seriously….. haha!
Good luck with your next tours (I hope there will be some?!) and have a nice rest, n chill out!!!
Caroline :) x
Hiya Tim, Really Enjoyed Your Show Last Night At The Echo Arena, Really Had A Good Night!!!! You Have A New Fan Too….. I Took My Friend With Me As I Didn’t Want To Go On My Own And She Said She Loved It!!!! Was Just Wondering If You Will Be Coming Back To Liverpool For Any Other Gigs, That Would Be Fun…….
Thanks For A Great Night At The Comedy. Sarah Higham xx (@shigham18)
I’m super excited that you are coming to chicago in June!! Going to take a 3.5 hour drive to get there but I will not miss it!! Yeah me!!! bonus i dont even have to pay for the ticket my lil sister knows how much I love your stuff so she is splurging on them for my b-day
Awesome night at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday night, i’m still on a high, gutted the UK tour is now over, but looking forward to a new tour.
Absolutely amazing night at the Liverpool Echo Arena last night. The orchestra were absolutely stunning, and you weren’t too bad yourself :)! I write this wearing a ‘I am so f**king rock’ t-shirt – love it! Thanks for the laughter x
Saw you on Craig tonight. Never heard of you before but I am now a fan.
I knew there was a reason I didn’t go to bed early tonight! Your performance on Craig Ferguson was terrific. Wonderfully crafted, witty and imaginative. You’ve probably gained a lot of new fans — including me.
Never heard of or seen your clever talent till last night on the Craig Ferguson show. And I’m addicted. I didn’t catch your name on the show, and had a hard time finding you on the web. So I’m Googling n find it on Yahoo Answers. Thank to Joey ;) Then I YouTubed and watched…. Angry Feet, Confessionsm Dark Humour, Rock n Roll Nerd, It’s Just Like 1984, If I Didn’t Have You, Some People Have It Worse Than I. Loved them all!! I’ve got to tell ya, your the next Einstein!! Here’s 3 of Einstein’s quotes: 1 “A person starts to live when he can live outside himself.” 2 “No, this trick won’t work…How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love?” 3 A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? Also…I’m curious as to why the barefeet? ;)
Just enjoyed your performance on the Craig Ferguson Show.
Wow! What a talent. Best wishes on your tour!
FYI – There wasn’t any mention of your name on the read-out provided by DISH NETWORK for the night you appeared on the Craig Ferguson Show.
We love Craig’s show and were delighted with your performance.
My last note also was collected without some of the details below.
All the Best!
White wine in the sun is the loveliest Christmas song I have heard. Thank you, it will be played in my home every Christmas from henceforth!
Hello tim, firstly: well done on your tour, i’m sure you are buzzing as much as the many fans who have seen you are. secondly: “The live CD i purchased at manchester evening news arena, in which i attended!…glad i could join you on darkside “jeremy” yes it was me, i am so fuckin chuffed to be part of that night. may you recieve everything you deserve. you are an outstanding musician, wordsmith and general top bloke.
Hey – So have been watching Eurovision and thought it would be awesome to see your take on a Eurovision Song Contest piece!?!
Tim is god!
I went to see you in liverpool 11th May 2011, it was the best night of my whole life!
You were hilarious, and just fucking awesome!
Your the coolest & funniest guy in the world.
The orchestra were amazing to!
I love you Tim! ;D
I saw you play in Sheffield on the 11th, me and my sister absolutely love you, and were 2 of the people who kept laughing when the rest of the arena was quiet. I hope the 3 standing ovations heightened the ego that little bit more! The night was absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to see you again.
PS. Me and my sister showed my Grandma your DVD’s and videos online and she now adores you and takes your canvass bag everywhere with her. Must feel good to have fans of all ages!
Hey, me and my sister came and saw you at Sheffield. She convinced me to buy tickets because she admires you so much. I came along for the ride because I knew you were clever and I’ve heard a few of your songs before. But the show was amazing! As soon as ‘I’m in a cage’ came on I was hooked, and my sister repeatedly clutched my arm and kept shouting ” I love you Tim”. What a show. Thanks for the humour and for the nice gentle songs at the end. True showman, top guy. Yes!
ok I am soo bummed… my lil sister tried to get tickets for one of the chicago shows.. this was going to be my Bday present and guess what?? they are all sold out!! been waiting for years for you to come to some place in the US close enough that we could afford to go to see you and you finally do and still I cant go…to bad that im an american and do believe in the theory of gravity or i would jump off a bridge and float the fuck away…. haha j/k….
Tim,
The iTunes samples off your newest CD sound amazing and I want to hear more but the UK iTunes won’t let me download the album in the US! Can you put the album on the US iTunes or sell it at your concerts (especially when you come to LA)?
So further to my working theory that Tim Is God, I liken the guestbook to prayer, whereby we heap on praise and beseech The Mighty One to visit, all the while not expecting a response. Of course if I DID get an email, that would blow the shit out of that theory….
hey Tim,
I really do love you and you should come closer to me (in morwell VIC) so you should come to melbourne so that i can come to one of your concerts! cos im only 15 so im not allowed to go any further ;) but i love you heaps and heaps, an email would be AWESOME!!! :) please come closer to mee please :)
Hi, on behalf of all the people enjoying your songs in Austria (I´m sure I´m not the only one), come and do a gig in Vienna! We would also bring cookies.
I just met your great music some hours ago. And now I can’t stop of listen and laugh
a lot. Sincere Congrats from this brazilian guy.
Best Ever,
Ricardo – Brazil ( consider someday play on my country, p-l-e-a-se)
Hi Tim, just wanted to say how great you were at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Wednesday, I was ridiculously excited to be on the 2nd row in the middle block and I wasn’t disappointed. Not that I’m surprised that I enjoyed the show or anything…I expected it to be brilliant…didn’t want to put too much pressure on you though…anyway, enough of my waffling, thankyou a million times for making me cry with laughter once again. :)

Hello! My friend bought me a ticket to your show in June. I had never heard of you before, but I am quickly becoming a huge fan! Can’t wait to see you in Boston June 4th!!
I’m definitely working on making a plan to come see you at least one of the several days you’ll be in Chicago. Of course I’ll be hopping 2 states, but to witness the show you will be putting on, I have to go. Being unemployed won’t make it easy, but I will sell my possessions if I have to. :) See ya soon, mate!
Just thought i’d say in biology revision we did a bit about making cheese!
And i thought Tim would love this lesson! ;D
Oh and another thing, all throught my R.S exam, everytime i wrote the word predjudice, your song just came into my head.
I was just sitting there like and the laungage of predjudice..
Ok I am no longer bummed… Thank you Lindzy for the email telling us to keep trying for tickets… we tried again today and my sister and I are going to a chicago show!!!! doing a happy dance :)~ Love ya Tim and his web fairy Lindzy too!!!
Have been to a meeting today to be told my wage is being cut (£60 per month, I only on £15,000 to start with). I work with people with learning difficulties for a housing association who are making these cuts in line with government policy so they remain viable ghrrrrrrrr! I one of the lucky ones, I can just starve my cat to save me money (joke?!*) others have lost more….
Came home very despondent…….listened to Mitsibushi Colt, then Angry (Feet) then 2 poofs then Not Perfect, feel a lot better knowing there are real, clever people out there that show humanity.
Can’t you write a song Tim telling Cameron et al to get a grip, they are destroying the infrastructure of this society!?
Sorry you have copped the lot , you are my favourite person that I don’t know, can’t write on FB would get sack, most of my friends are in the same position as me and anyway they can’t write songs like you!
BTW I have a nursing qualification and a degree and am 50 yr old I have worked at this company for 15 yrs, I don’t do it to get rich, I do it coz I love it but I expect to be able to have some spending money at end of it, I not a bloody saint! and I expect to be able to look service users in the eye to tell them they getting best care possible.( which I won’t be able to do soon with mi starving cat an ‘all to think about)
Saw you at the O2 arena on the “Orchestra” tour… can’t wait for the DVD!
Went to see your show in Liverpool and just had to say that you were awesome! Your voice is amazing and you kick ass at the piano. You really are so fucking rock. However, if you ever read the sun again i will take all the nice stuff i said back. :)
So Tim…I have a serious nut allergy and if i were stranded on an island with a crate of snickers bars, a jar of nutella, and a fresh baked peacan pie that would suck. But to top it all off i also have a fish allergy so i wouldnt even be able to catch a fish and eat it to survive…yep im screwed hahaha and im someone who might have it worse than you hahaha :)Love you and your songs btw!!! <3
Hope you come and play Dublin Sometime, just watched the ready for this dvd.
Brillant!
When will you be touring Australia again. You are amazing! I don’t feel so odd now as you have an even odder sense of humour than I do. You are amazing again!
Hi Tim (and web fairies)! I have been wanting to contact you for years (since you became so dramatically famous really, it’s just basic celebrity collecting) to see if you remember me (I’d be surprised if you did though, it was a long time ago!). Back in November 1996 we were in Superstar together at the Quarry Amphitheatre in Perth. You were Pilate – and even then, far more talented than the rest of us – and I was just in the chorus. But we had lots of chats and I have never forgotten what an awesome human being you are. That was the year you got into Musical Theatre at WAAPA and I didn’t. I can’t tell you how much I love your work; anything I say has been said hundreds of times before anyway. But you might like to know that my nine-year-old daughter is a massive fan, which has opened the door for a series of conversations one rarely gets to share with a nine-year-old. So thanks for being a major contributor to her development and understanding of the world. She’s going to grow up far less confused and sheep-like, and far more critical-thinking and discerning, than we did in primary school in the 80s, thanks to you. Quite simply, your stuff is so awesome that we listen to it in the car to the exclusion of all else, so she has memorised huge chunks of your lyrics and demands to know what they all mean. Tim, you truly are the best musician and comedian out there right now. Long may your intelligence, wit, musical brilliance, irony, and incredible perception continue to entertain, amuse and make people think. xx
Intelligent song and humor, I thought it was a thing of the past. Well-done Tim
I’m very sorry that I didn’t have a chance to see your live performance so far, Tim… :( :( I admit that I adore the way you are and the way you operate with music and lyrics.. and I’d die to see you.. but It’s not financially possible at this moment for me to visit either UK or other country you perform in.
Anyway – greetings from Czech Republic :) :) Keep it up ;)
Outstanding!!! I keep watching your videos, got your dvd’s and can’t wait to see you live some time. More gigs around Britain would be nice or come to the Czech Republic! You’ve got plenty of fans here ;)
it’s my birthday torworow and got your cd today trying my best not to open it but just want to back comb my hair and dance round the rooom with darkside booming through the speakers my dream would be if you were performing on my birthday shame your not but i will definetly be seeing you soon just the for mad tomboy teen in the front trying to jump on stage
BEWARE
This will probably sound really pathetic but I take GCSE Art and seeing as you’re one of my idols (I do music as well) I’ve drawn a couple of pictures of you but I’m not allowed to include them in my coursework, and I lose artwork far too easily, so is there a certain address or whatever that I could send them to? Preferably not some random address you’ve just thought up, maybe one that is actually connected to you in some way so it won’t be a waste of a good few hours that went in to each drawing. (I’m not just one of those shitty artists that pretends they’re amazing and wants to show it off, I genuinely think I’m not that good but according to everyone I know and some people I’ve never heard off in my life who randomly compliment me, I’m ‘amazing’)
Also, your show at the Royal Albert Hall was incredible, definitely coming to see your next tour!

Hi Tim. Thank you so much for the your lovely songs. They brighten my day every time I listen to them. I’ve introduced your songs to nearly everyone I know and they all have the same thing to say: AWESOME!!
I really wish I could see you in person someday. Keep up the great work and please please please come back again to Boston coz I won’t be able to be there on June 4th!!
Hi Tim!
I wish you’d come to play in Germany. I checked the Gigs sections from now to May 2023 but I couldn’t find any gigs close.
But I saw that you ain’t seem to be very busy in 2021. You may wanna come over – there will be cookies and maybe some wine and cheese.
I’m looking forward to it.
omg i love your mascara and good job with the 3 minute song its amazin good luck for the future
Hi Tim (or fairies) did you ever record ‘hooray for ray and his shiny toupee’? I saw you in Darwin many years ago and loved that song but can’t find it on youtube.

Hey Tim – ever thought about another longer collaboration with Jamie Cullum? You are both adept at the piano, and I htink it’d be fun to see you make him wear eyeliner ;) “Prejudice” and “Storm” are the BEST by the way.
